Frank Bey Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Frank Bey was born and raised in Millen, GA. At 17 he joined the Otis Redding Revue. In the early ‘70s, he formed the funk group Moorish Vanguard. After a record deal gone wrong with James Brown, Frank quit singing for 17 years. Unable to walk away from his dream, he recorded “Back In Business”, followed by “All My Dues Are Paid”. Frank died on June 7, 2020 from kidney failure at 74 years old. ... more
